Description
A lead driver is assisting with all the drivers at the warehouse. As the lead driver, you train new staff, help with optimizing routes, and package disposition. You are also responsible for covering routes. Will also be assisting in the warehouse as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading arriving dist. freight and sorting parcels down the route.
- Work with DSP / TPC drivers to sort, number, and load vehicles to facilitate morning launch.
- Cover any of our library and distribution routes and ensure they are done with efficiency and a
high level of customer service
Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs, stand for long periods of time. Must maintain a valid Dr License.
Must have weekend availability. Must maintain a valid Dot medical cards for some locations.
Knowledge and Experience
Must be an experienced driver with at least 2-3 years of Customer Service, must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment, and telematics systems.
