Optimae LifeServices is hiring a full-time Service Coordinator for Iowa City. The Service Coordinator uses discretion, good judgement and policies to empower customers and staff in accordance with customer desires and applicable standards. Fosters teamwork by encouraging cohesion, joint efforts and interdependence. Supervises Support staff, Team Leaders and other staff providing services to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- May coordinate and approve all admission and funding procedures including gathering all intake information, service planning and completing assessment of all needed Optimae services.
- Coordinate and lead the service delivery and service planning process.
- Provide direct service when it is necessary to meet the customers health and safety needs.
- Interview, hire, discipline and terminate employees as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- With a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the delivery, planning, coordination, or administration of human services is required.
- With an associate's degree in a human services field, a minimum of two (2) years experience in the delivery, planning, coordination, or administration of human services is required.
- With a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the delivery, planning, coordination, or administration of human services is required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
