What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acupuncturist position at Optimal Health Acupuncture?
Licensed Acupuncturist
Very busy practice in beautiful Monterey, California hiring an acupuncturist to join my practice and have interest in purchasing it as I prepare to retire. Ideally, applicants should be willing to train over a 2-4 year period to understand and work with all my payers and referral sources prior to a financially agreeable purchase.
I currently am fully booked out 4 plus weeks in advance and have incoming new patient referrals each week to fill another acupuncturists calendar within a 6-month period.
Well established, and well respected in the community in practice since 2006.
Referrals sourced from many local MD’s, DC’s and insurance companies.
2 treatment rooms available, with 5 total in the office.
Great Software program.
Incorporated practice that accepts all major insurance, with over 30% coming from Workers Compensation.
Software is streamlined for easy billing and note-taking, with fax capability directly from an iPad or the main computer. Professional billing service and accounting staff as well, who perform all duties off site.
Beautifully decorated office, simple and clean, great parking and sunny location.
Prefer, but not requiring, an acupuncturist that is also trained in massage therapy, as most workers compensation cases get 8-12 minutes of massage with their treatments.
Spanish Speaking is a definite plus.
New grads welcome to apply.
