What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Rehabilitation Technician position at Optimal Physical Therapy?
Optimal Pediatric Therapy is looking for the right person to join our team in the position of Rehabilitation Technician. This is a full-time position with benefits including health, dental, vision, paid time off and a retirement matching plan.
The Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab. Tech.) is a direct patient service position. This position requires an emotionally intelligent team member with a great attitude and strong interpersonal skills, who interacts smoothly with the clinic’s leadership team, therapists and patients. This position is an extension of the clinic’s therapists, and as such, interacts professionally and demonstrates a strong knowledge of their designated duties and the clinic’s culture of hard work and consistent dedication to its patients.
Key activities include but are not limited to completing a daily task list; retrieving accurate patient files; accurately transcribing patient activities; assisting therapists with patients’ therapeutic needs; safely and effectively applying and removing hot packs, cold packs, and electrical stimulation and maintaining the clinic’s overall cleanliness and disinfecting equipment. Additionally, this position is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly duties to include office/clerical, light-janitorial/housekeeping and equipment maintenance duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
