Job description:
- Each year of virtualization experience shall include performance of the following tasks:
- Installing/implementing virtualization environments
- Maintaining virtualization environments
- Testing virtualization environments
- Utilization of virtualization tools and utilities
- Virtualization environment tuning and optimization
- Designing virtualization environments to include cloud environments
- All FTE assigned to this labor category shall possess the following certification that is current:
- VMWARE Certified Professional Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) within 9-month grace period of onboarding date unless the position s predecessor failed to accomplish the certificate within their grace period. If that occurs the next new hire on the same position must have in advance of onboarding.
- Minimum years of experience shall include:
- 10 years of enterprise IT experience to include 5 years enterprise virtualization administration and architecture experience
- Educational experience shall include:
Associates or higher degree from an accredited university or college in science, engineering, technology, or math
