Qualifications and Experience University degree ; Bachelor’s or Master's degree in life science, marketing, management, or a business-related fieldExcellent knowledge of the Healthcare industry and CRO businessMinimum of 10 years of Business Development experience within CROExcellent communication skills and team leadership capabilities consistent with influencing and driving multiple stakeholders toward meeting customers’ and Optimapharm’s needsExcellent organizational, planning and multitasking skillsEntrepreneurial mindset, results-oriented and customer-focusedProblem-solving capabilitiesWith a hunting inclination , ability to work independentlyTeam collaboration skills : able to work effectively and collaboratively with other department members to accomplish collective goalsAbility and willingness to travel internationally and domestically (50% of the time)Intermediate to complex level of technology aptitude; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookPrevious use of Salesforce.com CRM toolYour responsibilities Reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing, your responsibilities will be : Meet annual sales goals and objectivesBusiness development strategy and client retention in allocated territoryCoordination of all activities delegated to BD DepartmentTimely and efficient reportingEssential Job DutiesAccount Strategist Initiate, coordinate, develop and implement strategic plans, sales strategies and annual forecasts within a specified territory or accounts.Develop and implement all activities aiming to develop and retain clients, including prospecting, cold calling, and in-person sales calls.Sales Leadership To develop and maintain positive and effective client relationshipsCollaborating in the development and presentation of powerful capabilities and RFIsCreating business opportunities through all channels, including industry relationships and networksWorking with operational colleagues to proactively resolve sponsor issues and secure repeat businessRepresent and advocate Business Development at various company meetingsProposal Leadership Collaboration in the analysis and development of the bids’ strategyCollaboration and management of Optimapharm Bids defense meetingsNegotiation of contracts with the customersMarketing activities Represent Optimapharm at industry conferences and therapeutic meetingsObtain competitive information such as the strengths / weaknesses of competitive CROsCommunicate industry events and trends to managementBD Reporting activities Familiarity with Territory Planning, Account Plans and reporting toolTracking, managing and reporting sales activitiesBy joining our fast-growing and prosperous team, you will have a great opportunity for further personal growth and career development.If you would be interested in joining the Optimapharm team, please send your CV and note that only shortlisted candidates that meet the requirements will be contacted for the further selection process.#J-18808-Ljbffr
