Position Overview
In this role, the Maintenance Associate is responsible for assistance with various maintenance related tasks within out high speed / high volume cold heading manufacturing facility, as part of a hands-on training plan to grow into a highly skilled maintenance technician.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of cold heading, thread rolling, and other production and support equipment.
- Assist with fabrication of parts using mills, lathes, grinders, and other equipment.
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
- Assist with building maintenance and repair tasks.
- Complete maintenance reports and other documentation
- Maintain inventory of in-house replacement parts for building, machines, and equipment.
- Assist with machinery installations and start-up activities.
- Communicate all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and attendance requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- 1-2 years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial environment.
- Ability to weld and fabricate preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and circuits
- Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand complex drawings and instructions.
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
