Position overview:
- Products
- Quoting new parts
- Set-up of new part specifications
- Compliance with customer specific and special characteristic requirements
- Set up of APQP document set
- Customer Issues
- Advising on application related issues associate with customer quality concerns
- Advising on specification related issues associate with customer quality concerns
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with fastener specifications, fastener applications, fastener specifications, and product launch protocols. Further, the candidate must have a good blend of manufacturing, problem solving, failure analysis, technical, and interpersonal skills to ensure product shipped conforms to specification and contractual requirements.

Managing quote process
- Set up quote process
- Complete initial feasibility review
- Provide product cost
- Managing new part set up and APQP process
- Complete feasibility review, ensure all specification are understood and measurable.
- Set up of PFD, PFMEA, PCP, and Inspection Sheets

Managing customer issues
- Assess customer issue when design or specification related
- Provide recommendation on application and specification changes

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing.
- Minimum 2 years’ fastener experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or material sciences.
- AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA
- IATF 16949 Internal or Lead Auditor highly preferred
- Inspection, Metrology, Metallurgical Analysis Interpretation.
- GD&T, Print Review, Understanding and interpretation of engineering specifications (IFI, ASME, etc). Fastener experience highly preferred.
- Lean and Six Sigma experience
