Position Overview:
The Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst will report into the Business Intelligence centralized analytics team, with a dotted line into the Supply Chain leadership team. This position will work closely with the Purchasing, Inventory Management, SIOP, and Demand Planning teams to support reporting and analytical needs such as internal scorecard/KPI management, exception reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and project support. The ideal candidate will possess very strong Supply Chain business acumen as well as excellent analytical skills, clear communication, and solid organizational skills. These paired skills will enable this individual to leverage Supply Chain data to identify insights into improvement opportunities, create and present recommended action plans to leadership, drive implementation with the cross functional teams, and track the actual versus intended benefits to ensure the ROI is successfully realized.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of internal and external KPI tracking and reviews with Supply Chain teams to ensure accountability and execution to goals.
- Analyze data to provide insights into areas of opportunity to reduce costs, manage inventory, maintain on-time delivery, and drive efficiency to maximize company performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Business Intelligence Tableau Dashboard Development team and the functional Supply Chain team to enhance reporting capabilities to better utilize data for discovery, decisions, implementation, and performance metrics.
- Identify, quantify, and explore key trends in the data to surface general, category, vendor, or customer insights, working cross-functionally with sales and supply chain teams to recommend a course of action and track projected vs. actual ROI.
- Independently perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner, connecting previously unrelated ideas and processes.
- Support and lead formal project analysis and ad-hoc analysis requests and Supply Chain projects and execution.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of related experience as a Supply Chain analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. Supply Chain Industry experience required.
- Proven experience delivering strong results in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects with conflicting priorities.
- Proven analytical skills, strong understanding of data management / data integrity, and ability to apply analytical concepts to cross functional operational needs.
- Experience with Tableau or other interactive BI reporting tools preferred.
- Experience using Oracle NetSuite and Tools Group a plus.
- BS degree in Information Science, Data Analytics, Business, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
