GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provide oversight for all store operations. Receive and resolve, within established guidelines, patient concerns and complaints. Maintain appropriate records and prepare required reports. Review and analyze daily Key Performance Indicators to determine opportunities for growth. Seek opportunities to promote and market HFO in local markets and lead practice building activities. Work closely with Eye Care Services (Ophthalmology) department.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided by all vision center team members with a goal of exceeding patient expectations
· Responsible for the financial performance of the store. Assists with reviewing and managing store budgets and financial goals.
· Works with store managers to develop office sales and profit objectives in accordance with Henry Ford OptimEyes goals. Leads office and corporate initiatives to measure and improve office and team member performance.
· Partners with the Director of Satellite Operations to strategize office performance improvements. Interviews and selects employees for hire, ensuring offices are adequately staffed. Nurtures and empowers others to achieve.
· Performs annual performance reviews for staff. Provides timely feedback and helpful coaching while evaluating performance of manager and team members.
· Accurately assesses strengths and development needs of employees and participates in providing individualized training. Provides follow-up for training programs to ensure intended behaviors and performance.
· Coordinates and distributes company-operating procedures to ensure consistency and that all standard operating procedures are followed.
· Establishes strong relationships within the community to strengthen office presence within local industry.
· Creates value for patients and exceed patient expectations. Demonstrates the ability to anticipate patient needs and act to meet/exceed them. · Responsible for ensuring self and team members are responding and addressing patient needs
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Requires High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred.
· A minimum of two (2) years of optical experience required.
· A minimum of one (1) year managerial experience required. Knowledge of revenue and expense reports preferred.
· Requires the ability to efficiently organize and prioritize daily activities for self and team members to accomplish goals.
· Requires demonstration of managerial, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Requires completion of all required training courses as dictated by Henry Ford OptimEyes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a retail office environment. May require travel to different office locations in Southeast Michigan, in a non-company vehicle.
