OVERALL FUNCTION :
The STRTP Clinical Supervisor of Adjunctive Services supervises and trains the STRTP case managers, TBS/rehab workers, and Educational Advocates in their day-to-day responsibilities including, but not limited to, intensive care coordination and rehab services, documentation, CFT engagement/collaboration, and general supervision. This position is responsible for the effective implementation of the clinical portion of the agency’s program statement, policies and procedures for STRTP Mental Health Program Approval, and standards of other regulatory bodies such as California Department of Social Services, Council on Accreditation, Probation, and DCFS.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for the direct clinical and administrative supervision of supervisees in their scheduling, performance, and job duties.
- Meets weekly with assigned supervisees for individual and/or group supervision.
- Assumes primary/hands on, integrative role of training new supervisees.
- Provides consultation and assists in the formulation and implementation of individualized treatment plans, services, and interventions to meet the needs of the residents and families from intake through discharge with an emphasis on intensive care coordination, home based, and therapeutic behaviors services.
- Ensures/reinforces that strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client and family-centered approaches following the Core Practice Model are being utilized.
- Receives and reviews TBS referrals from STRTP therapists and submits authorization requests for TBS to Provider Connect.
- QA Reviews Probation/DCFS and DMH documentation for thoroughness and accuracy, returning for corrections and providing additional training/support as needed.
- Provides clinical guidance and direct training to staff. In-service topics will vary but will be assigned based on specific areas of expertise or areas of interest.
- Participates in administrative, case consultations, crisis interventions, and CFT meetings as needed.
- Reviews Probation/DCFS and DMH documentation for thoroughness and accuracy, returning for corrections and providing additional training/support as needed
- Ensures all services are documented thoroughly, meeting service quality, frequency, and productivity expectations.
- Researches and reaches out to community partners for additional resources/services for clients.
- Evaluates supervisees on a timely basis, including disciplinary actions.
- Works collaboratively with the other STRTP Clinical Supervisors and Residential Administrators to ensure consistency.
- Assists in the hiring of STRTP clinical staff.
- Requires travel between the five STRTP sites.
- Attends and participates in mandatory training and in-services, following the number of hours and training topics as outlined by CCL and/or DMH.
- Attends and participates in STRTP and TBS Roundtable provider meetings.18. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist registered with the BBS, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working in a residential setting and/or with at-risk adolescent population
- Proficient in DMH documentation and Electronic Health Records Systems.
- Strong verbal, writing, and teamwork skills.

Therefore, each employee must at all times be emotionally stable and able to function effectively with children, adolescents and adults who may have mental or behavioral health problems. The staff must be able to demonstrate appropriate daily behavior, appropriate expression of emotions as well as appropriate role modeling. Hostility, aggression, and unnecessary or inappropriate physical actions as well as inappropriate emotional expression are not acceptable.
- Must be able to pass criminal/fingerprinting background check, TB Test, Physical Exam and Drug Testing. Must have a valid California Driver's License and a clear DMV record. Must have the visual, physical and technical ability to independently operate a variety of office equipment including the use of a computer. Will also require bending, stooping, filing, lifting of office files. Ability to verbally communicate well with others.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
