Job description
Optimize Generator People is looking to add a Project Estimator that can implement our educational sales approach to design generator installations that meet the needs of our customers. This is a technically complex product that is purchased in the customer's home through the collection of information and working with the customer to design a generator system that meets their needs. We are currently hiring for a position in the New Orleans area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the GENERAC In Home Assessment & Quote.
- Gather electrical information and gas information.
- Inspect attic equipment and calculate electrical & gas loads.
- Document the generator Installation Details.
- Show up on time to appointments and spend the time to get it correct.
- Complete all related paperwork.
- Become skilled at iPad driven sales applications.
- Coordinate with team members and other departments.
- Motivate yourself & follow up with customers.
- Communicate quickly & clearly with the customers.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Skills
- Proven work experience in sales or related fields.
- Working knowledge of home construction, gas, and electric systems.
- Ability to take measurements accurately and map out project details.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Exceptional knowledge of email, texting, iPhone, and iPad use.
- Ability to simply explain or teach information.
- Excellent integrity is most important.
- Highly motivated to do what is correct for the customer & company.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prioritizing time management and organizational skills.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
