Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to Administrative Engineer, the successful candidate will: Review fire alarm plans and documents submissions, including fire alarm control equipment and Auxiliary Radio Communication equipment and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial occupancies. Fire Alarm equipment review would include: heat/flame/smoke/gas detectors/control panels, audible/visual alarms/devices, alarm/trouble/supervisory signals, automatic/manual initiation, fire alarm panels, central stations, electrical line diagrams, etc. Auxiliary Radio Communication equipment review would include base stations, radio transmitters etc. to comply with FCC and Client's radio compatibility. Review technical calculations related to project submissions. Review technical evaluations and testing reports. Prepare oral and written presentations. Engage in studies or investigations related to proposed fire alarm systems and radio communication systems to determine design feasibility. Prepare written approval/disapproval letters for supervisors
Requested skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Team Player.
- 1-3 years of work experience.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and radio communications systems design and inspection is a plus. Knowledge of the Fire Code,
- Electrical Code and FCC standards is a plus.
- Auxiliary Radio Communication equipment review would include base stations, radio transmitters.

Salary : $25 - $40
