What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Optimize Search Group?
We have partnered with a rapidly growing PE backed company seeking to add an Accounting Manager to their team as a result of growth. This will be the incoming Controller's first hire (also an addition to staff) and will be his righthand person tasked with managing and growing the accounting department as the company continues to grow and acquire other businesses. This role will manage and oversee both the GL and reporting processes, manage the audit, and assist in standardizing the accounting processes. We have assisted this CFO hire at several companies and the feedback from the people who work for him is very good - he's extremely bright, fosters a laid back culture, and appreciates a good work/life balance. This position is located in Orem and offers two days remote work.
Accounting Manager
- Min. 4-5 years GAAP experience
- Public accounting or Private Equity experience preferred
- Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) experience is a strong plus
- CPA preferred, not required
