We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our IT team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco technologies, including Cisco Call Manager, VoIP routers, wireless networking, routing and switching, Cisco ISE, and DNA Center (DNAc). Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is also desirable. This role requires a proactive and analytical professional with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure and efficient network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a high-performance network infrastructure to support business operations.
- Manage and configure Cisco Call Manager to ensure seamless enterprise communication.
- Administer and optimize VoIP routers for efficient voice and data transmission.
- Configure and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) to enhance wireless connectivity.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve routing and switching issues to ensure network reliability.
- Oversee and troubleshoot Cisco ISE to maintain network security and stability.
- Support and manage Palo Alto firewalls to enhance network protection.
- Analyze network performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to deliver effective network solutions.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for reference and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to drive network improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Required Certification: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
- Preferred Certification: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
- Proven expertise in Cisco Call Manager, Cisco ISE, and DNAc.
- Experience with VoIP routers and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network security principles.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills.
