Title: Quantum Engineer (Testing)

You will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and optimizing qubit technologies for quantum processors. This involves driving one or more projects directly aligned with the company’s mission, such as:
- Developing SFQ-controlled (Single Flux Quantum) gates and readout techniques.
- Calibrating multi-qubit processors for improved performance and scalability.
Your responsibilities span multiple stages of the development pipeline, including:
- Test Infrastructure Setup: Building and refining systems for qubit testing.
- Data Analysis and Characterization: Extracting and interpreting device parameters to evaluate performance.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Providing feedback to design and fabrication teams, coordinating with software developers, and brainstorming solutions with colleagues.
- Hardware and Protocol Development: Leading upgrades to cryogenic and room-temperature hardware while refining measurement protocols.
Required Experience:
- Quantum Physics Expertise:
- Deep understanding of single-qubit and two-qubit physics.
- Hands-on experience in characterizing qubits at the single-qubit level, regardless of the hardware platform.
- Experimental and Analytical Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail in experimental setups and measurements.
- Strong ability to hypothesize and verify outcomes through rigorous testing.
- Cryogenic Systems Knowledge:
- Experience working with cryogenic systems, critical for qubit operations at extremely low temperatures.
- Programming and Optimization:
- Advanced skills in Python programming for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with or eagerness to adopt optimization and calibration techniques.
- Communication and Team Collaboration:
- Ability to effectively present results to teams in a structured and clear manner.
- Education:
- Ph.D. in experimental/applied physics, electrical engineering, or a closely related discipline preferred.
Preferred Additional Experience:
- Superconducting Circuits:
- Hands-on experience or theoretical understanding of superconducting circuits, a common hardware platform for quantum computing.
- Digital Circuit Technology & Microwave Engineering:

Salary : $120,000 - $170,000
