We are a Civil & Structural engineering firm actively searching for a dynamic Civil Engineer to join our office in Laurel, MD. We're looking for candidates with 1-5 years of experience in land development, encompassing a wide array of responsibilities such as site engineering for roadways, utilities (water, sewer, storm drain), stormwater management facilities, grading, and sediment and erosion control design for diverse residential and commercial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must, while familiarity with Civil 3D, TR-55, HydroCad, and / or Pondpack would be a significant plus! Join us in shaping the future of our communities!
Responsibilities :
- Land development projects
- Site engineering for roadways, utilities (water, sewer, storm drain), and stormwater management facilities
- Grading, and sediment and erosion control design
- Sanitary pump station and force main design
- Utilizes Autocad to input design elements
- Utilizes Civil3D features
- Performs stormwater management calculations
- Designs storm and sanitary pipes
- Performs lot and site grading
- Perform earthwork calculations
