Job Summary
The Senior Project Coordinator oversees on-site activities during the construction phase. This role schedules and coordinates work to achieve maximum production efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contract requirements for safety, quality, and environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sub-contractors to ensure timely and efficient construction completion.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and hold toolbox talks with sub-contractors.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Regularly review floor plans and project specifications to ensure work is properly completed.
- Perform material and quantity estimates at each stage of the construction cycle.
- Coordinate material ordering and delivery with the corporate office.
- Maintain professional relationships with government officials.
- Communicate issues and schedule changes with sub-contractors and the corporate office.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent running ground-up projects in commercial market sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management (preferred) or relevant field.
- Proven experience implementing safety protocols with a track record of successfully enforcing safety procedures on construction sites.
- Ability to read and understand floorplans and blueprints.
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks for government clearance.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Proficiency with computer applications including ProCore, P6, and Microsoft Office.
