Licensed Practical Nurse

Optimized Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a lead nurse. As an LPN at Optimized Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate caregivers to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to residents.
• Monitor and assess the health status of residents, including vital signs, medication administration, and general well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide hands-on nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living, as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident assessments, care plans, and interventions.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and training programs to enhance professional development and promote best practices.
• Uphold a positive and supportive work environment that fosters teamwork, respect, and compassion.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Ohio.
• Previous experience working in a senior living or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess, evaluate, and implement nursing interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of practice in assisted living.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and occasional holidays.
