Job Summary:
Optimized Senior Living Group, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. The Resident Assistant plays a crucial role in providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This position involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, helping with light housekeeping, and supporting meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring residents from beds to chairs, walking assistance, and proper positioning.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing housekeeping tasks in residents’ rooms and common areas.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Follow care plans and report any changes in residents' physical or mental conditions to the nursing staff.
- Comply with all health, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a long-term care, senior living, or healthcare environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under the direction of nursing staff.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, transferring, and providing personal care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
