Production Assistant

Our company is looking to fill the role of Food Production Assistant. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Main Functions: Blending, Bagging, Boxing, Palletizing

• Use of a V-blender, Bag Filler and Vacuum Sealer
• Use of a scale to accurately weigh ingredients
• Following a batch sheet and ensuring precise weights to blend and mix our products
• Clean Equipment to limit cross contamination of product lines
• Be able to work safely
• Assist with clean-ups
• Ensure that all areas are free of debris and trash
• Meet the physical demands of the position including reaching, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
• This role will also involve working in ‘dusty’

environments in which there are many small particles of food products in the

atmosphere.

• Working as part of a team, maintaining production of high-quality products.
• Generate product labeling to a consistent, high-quality appearance.
• Maintain a flexible approach and work to meet team-based work requirements.
• Observe and maintain a clean & tidy working environment.
• Undertake training to meet food legislation requirements and to maintain high standards

of such.

• Maintain a strict level of personal and workplace hygiene.
• Ability to show initiative, and to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to take on responsibility, and complete tasks set through to the end.
• Ability to share and exchange information with others.

Hours- 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Wages- $17.00-$18.00 depending on experience
