About the Role
The Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, resulting in optimal clinical outcomes and exceeding patient expectations. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide concierge-level customer service over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication.
- Schedule appointments, provide cost estimates, and collect patient financial responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage doctor schedules, communicate with patients and referring offices, and ensure seamless coordination of services.
- Update and maintain accurate patient insurance information and keep records up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure an excellent patient experience and outstanding clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical or dental experience preferred.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and basic office skills (typing, filing, etc.) highly desirable.
