Optimum Academy provides the highest standard of training in access, rescue and safety to the Wind Energy industry. We are certified by the Global Wind Organization (GWO) and conduct training at our home base in Amarillo, TX, at partner facilities, and at customer sites nationwide.

Job Description - Rope Access Technician - Level 2 or Level 3
o Set-up and calibrate equipment.
o Make certain that a prompt rescue of rope access technician personnel can be accomplished and that emergency services are available
o Ensure that the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is used
o SPRAT or IRATA Rope Access Level 2 or 3 certification is required
o Must have good teamwork skills, ability to coordinate with different department heads within the company.
o Must be able to climb towers multiple times a day
o Interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports
o Must be able to operate a computer to upload files and document timesheets as well daily job reports
o Work under direct supervision.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
o Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
