RV Lot Porter

Optimum RV, a growing full-service RV Dealer, is seeking a Lot Porter to join the team and maintain and manage our RV Lot.

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lot Porter to join our team and lead a small team to manage the RV Lot after closing. In this role, you will move and park units that need to be brought in overnight, keeping track of parked units and making sure that the lot is neat and presentable for opening the next day. Must be available weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the GM at arrival to discuss needs for the evening.
  
  

• Moving units inside the gate that have been left out during the day.
  
  

• Arranging and parking units in designated lot areas.
  
  

• Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory, and ensuring most marketable vehicles are put on display first.
  
  

• Driving and handling all units responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting dealership property.
  
  

• Accounting for all units on the lot.
  
  

• Ensuring the cleanliness of units on the lot.
  
  

• Ensuring the lot is organized, clean, and free from trash and debris.
  
  

• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience as a lot porter, or similar.
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  

• Valid Driver’s License
  
  

• Clean driving record
  
  

Essential Characteristics:

• Excellent communication skills
  
  

• Organizational skills
  
  

• Willingness to work irregular hours: evening hours - partly overnight.
  
  

• Ability to take accurate notes regarding vehicle movements and vehicle conditions.
