Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance:
- Prepare journal entries and post them to the general ledger
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy
- Reconcile and pay warranty accounts
- Perform daily or monthly bank reconciliations to verify account balances
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between the company's books and bank records
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Identify and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups)
