Job Title:
Commercial Driver - Dry Van
Responsibilities:
- Earn $27/hour for 1st shift and $28/hour for 2nd shift.
- Weekend part-time work with flexible availability.
- Schedule: Sunday to Saturday based on business needs.
- Drive a Day Cab hauling a Dry Van trailer.
- No touch freight, transporting plastic bottles.
- Shuttle routes from East Longmeadow, MA to Enfield, CT (6 miles each way).
- Position trailers into dock doors or lots as needed.
- Perform yard moves & fill in for vacation schedules or weekend work as required.
- Ensure timely, safe deliveries and adhere to DOT regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- 12 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be 23 years of age or older.
- Endorsements are helpful but not required.
- Ability to safely perform yard moves and shuttle runs while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
- No DUIs / DWIs in the past 5 years.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 48 months.
- Must be able to pass a DOT Drug Screen, Physical, and comprehensive Background Check.
