A key Optimus Client; a leading energy company transitioning from flow assurance to asset-backed trading is seeking a Natural Gas Originator to shape the future of a leading energy organization transitioning to asset-backed trading. Drive the strategic vision for the gas origination team while actively originating, structuring, and marketing tailored commercial solutions across diverse energy commodities, regions, pipelines, and tenors. With nearly 8 BCF/day production and investment-grade credit, you'll have the tools to deliver impactful results.

What You'll Do:
- This position focuses on driving growth through innovative, customized transactions across energy commodities, regions, pipelines, and tenors.
- Develop and lead origination strategies in the Southeast U.S. market.
- Build and grow relationships with power generators, LDCs, and end-users.
- Source, negotiate, and close profitable transactions, ensuring seamless execution.
- Stay ahead of market trends, pipeline expansions, and regulatory changes.
- Mentor and manage a small team while collaborating across trading and risk functions.
What You Bring:
- 15 years in energy markets with expertise in origination, trading, and marketing.
- A strong network and proven ability to drive new business.
- Analytical and negotiation skills to structure and close complex deals.
- Knowledge of Southeast pipelines and production from Marcellus and Haynesville.
