About the Role
This role involves supporting full-cycle accounting operations, reporting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical accounting skills, process improvement expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End Close & Reconciliations: Lead journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Technical Accounting: Research and draft memos to support IFRS/GAAP positions.
- Process Enhancements: Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and risk reduction.
- Data Analysis: Use advanced Excel to analyze financial data and prepare insightful reports.
- System Support: Collaborate on financial system enhancements (Workday experience preferred).
- Regulatory Reporting: Assist with compliance and audit documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (Master’s preferred). CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
- Experience: 3–5 years in public accounting, energy, or trading industries with IFRS and FP&A experience.
- Skills: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), strong analytical abilities, and process improvement mindset.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Power BI, MS Teams, and reporting to foreign parent companies.
