A key Optimus client is looking for an Endur Business Analyst to work within a Commodities Trade Processing, Trade Lifecycle Management, Risk and PnL team. The areas of expertise must include physical and financial deals, scheduling, trade lifecycle, risk reporting, P&L and market data for Power & Natural Gas.

Minimum requirements of the position.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Endur business analyst supporting of commercial commodities (ideally Natural Gas & power, but other commodity experience considered as well) trading operations.
• Experience supporting and working with commercial IT team providing functional expertise and assisting in technical designs for commercial systems
• Experience in trade operation infrastructure, interfaces, and ETRM front to back business / functional flow
• Experience working with teams to drive and influence IT strategies by taking initiative, engaging business stakeholders and management, expressing ideas and challenging the status quo across management, business and functions

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

• Must be proficient in Endur knowledge of deal modeling, deal lifecycle management, market data, pnl/risk reporting, middle to back office functionalities (knowledge of SQL is a plus)
• Experience in North America Natural Gas, Power, Refined Products, or Oil with strong business acumen and detailed knowledge of Physical and Financial Trading, Scheduling and front to back processes and data flow
• Extensive functional knowledge in Openlink Endur, execution platform and trade operation infrastructure
• Ability to quickly understand a complex energy commodity value chain system architecture and matrix of across the organizations and businesses; and their interrelationships/dependencies
• Proven track record in working with a dynamic team to manage multiple concurrent projects, operations and budgets
• Willingness and ability to lead or follow to achieve business objectives
• Strategic thinking skills with ability to visualize the big picture and manage tactical details as required
• Excellent communication skills with ability to serve as effective liaison between business users and IT with ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
• Leadership skills to drive business change, manage business stakeholders, and managed service providers
