A key Optimus midstream client is seeking a dedicated Natural Gas Gathering Scheduler to join their team. This role focuses on the nomination and monitoring of natural gas production, ensuring efficient management of company volumes while minimizing financial overspends. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support gas sales and pipeline operations.

This role is in Spring, TX and is in office daily and requires weekend rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage natural gas nominations and ensure seamless communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee the nomination process for natural gas volumes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Monitor gathering system imbalances and facilitate cash-out payments to maintain compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with midstream gathering companies.
• Review monthly gathering invoices to verify accuracy and contract compliance.
• Provide allocation data to management and other internal teams as needed.
• Assist with additional tasks and duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of pipeline nomination processes, electronic bulletin boards, pipeline tariffs, gas contracts, commodity markets, and pricing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with a willingness to proactively solve issues over the phone.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Education & Experience:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Experience: From college grad with relevant trading internship to 5 years of related work experience.
