What You’ll Do:
Implement Trades & Monitor Market Activities:
- Execute and record key trading functions, including generation, load, purchases, and sales.
- Manage daily transactions by creating NERC tags, handling OASIS reservations, and entering data into market systems.
- Support traders in navigating competitive market shifts while maintaining seamless operations.
Ensure Data Accuracy:
- Verify power and transmission deals, ensuring all records are precise and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management teams to keep activities on track.
- Swiftly resolve data discrepancies and coordinate with back-office teams for accuracy.
Coordinate Technology Solutions:
- Partner with IT to troubleshoot and optimize software systems.
- Test new upgrades and ensure seamless integration for all trading tools.
Train & Develop:
- Document procedures and mentor new team members to build a stronger, more effective team.
- Advance your professional skills while contributing to the team’s success.
Audit Transactions:
- Review and correct transaction entries to maintain precision and compliance with risk policies.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 1 years in data entry, finance, or accounting preferred.
- Internships or experience in Settlements or Real Time Asset Management would be a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility: Willing to adjust to unconventional schedules when needed.
