Our client is seeking a Trade Operations Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience in confirmations, settlements, or trade finance. Candidates with management experience and strong trade lifecycle knowledge may be considered at a higher level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle trade verification, confirmations, invoicing, and settlements across crude, refined products, agricultural commodities, and metals.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation and manage Letters of Credit (LC) processes when applicable.
- Work with RightAngle (RA) and proprietary systems to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Engage daily with external counterparties and internal trading teams on the trade floor.
- Manage transactions across all transportation modes—pipeline, truck, rail, and vessel/waterborne.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or other similar discipline.
- 3-5 years of experiencein commodity settlements, confirmations, or trade finance.
- Familiarity with RightAngle (RA) or other ETRM systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact with trading teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot when priorities change.
- Strong analytical thinking skills
