I'm Sagar from Optimuss Inc. We have an immediate opening for an AWS/Python Developer
Location Hybrid Reston, Virginia, United States
Duration 12-month contract with the ability to extend to 36 months
- Candidates must be coachable and willing to learn we are looking for developers that are not stuck in their ways
- Experienced with Python and AWS native services THIS IS A MUST HAVE. Well-rounded skills interacting with AWS as an Automation Engineer.
- Building automation frameworks from scratch this group is facilitating You Build You Own activities across the Enterprise. They are using CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, UCD, Python and Bots in AWS that allow Developers to facilitate and manage changes, upgrades or fixed to their own Applications. In the past, Developers had to rely on the L2 App/Prod Support teams for this.
- Software development - Experience developing and testing applications using Python and Object-Oriented design principles. Someone with good basic implementation skills and has worked with basic libraries and python boto3 preferably
- Cloud native architecture, development & deployment within AWS
- Problem-solving skills - Experience in problem-solving by analyzing, debugging, and troubleshooting applications and integration components. Familiar with using software debuggers for Python
- Ability to collaborate and work with stakeholders across multiple groups
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other engineering teams and key business stakeholders
