Lead Plumbing Project & Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a Lead Project & Quality Control Manager with extensive experience in plumbing and a solid understanding of other trades (HVAC, electrical, etc.). This role is for a self-motivated, experienced individual who excels in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and quality control of plumbing projects in both residential and light commercial applications, while ensuring the highest standards of quality across all aspects of the job.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading a team, providing and receiving direction, and solving problems proactively to keep projects on track.
Common Types of Projects Managed:
• Repipes (whole-house or commercial system replacements)
• Redrains (drainage and pipe restoration)
• Water quality improvement systems (filtration, softening, etc.)
• Sewer and drain repairs
• Water heater installations and replacements
• General plumbing maintenance and upgrades
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage plumbing projects, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repairs related to plumbing systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, electrical, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
• Resolve plumbing-related challenges, offering creative and effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to plumbing teams, subcontractors, and junior staff.
• Assist with the oversight of other trades as necessary to ensure a high standard of work.
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in plumbing project management and quality control.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex construction challenges.
• Ability to coordinate and work with other trades such as HVAC, electrical, and general construction.
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:
• 5 years of plumbing experience, with a focus on project management and quality control.
• Additional knowledge or certifications in HVAC, electrical, or other construction trades is a plus.
