Position Overview
As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying prospects, nurturing relationships, and closing sales. Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
Identify and pursue new client opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and community outreach.
Develop and maintain a strong client pipeline by building lasting relationships and understanding clients' unique insurance needs.
Provide tailored recommendations for insurance products, including property, casualty, business, and personal policies.
Sales and Lead Management
Manage leads efficiently through a CRM system to track progress, follow-ups, and conversions.
Conduct virtual or in-person meetings to present products, answer questions, and address client concerns.
Educate clients on policy benefits, terms, and coverage options, guiding them through the selection process to make informed decisions.
Achieve Sales Goals and Targets
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by driving revenue through new policy sales and renewals.
Track and report on sales metrics and progress, adapting strategies to improve performance.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new insurance products to maintain a competitive edge.
Customer Service and Policy Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and informative experience from initial contact to policy maintenance.
Provide clients with regular updates on policy changes, renewals, and coverage reviews.
Collaborate with agency staff to support client needs and resolve any policy or claims-related issues.
Qualifications
Experience in Sales: Prior experience in sales (preferably insurance) with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Knowledge of Insurance Products: Familiarity with personal and commercial insurance products is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build rapport and convey complex information clearly.
Self-Motivated and Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
Organizational Skills: Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, AgencyBloc) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Licensing: Active insurance license in Tennessee (or willingness to obtain).
