Overview
Options for Southern Oregon, Inc. seeks a full-time Pre-Commitment Investigator for locations in Grants Pass, Oregon: Conducts pre-commitment investigations and evaluations according to state laws; writes court reports; coordinates witnesses’ attendance and testimonies; testifies in court to verify and clarify the Investigator’s report and assessments; Monitors individuals on civil commitment and confers with the Court, the individual, and all pertinent parties to meet individual’s treatment needs; Maintains client records, documents services provided and prepares reports for Trial Visit Agreement (TVA) clients, and those in residential programs according to Options’ policy and state law; Coordinates client admissions and discharges into appropriate facilities/programs in collaboration with appropriate parties; Provides crisis intervention, evaluations, diversion related services for individuals in crisis/emergent situations at the hospital/Crisis Resolution Center; Provides consultation and education services within the agency and with community partners as they pertain to two party petitions, custody holds, 14 day diversions, commitments, revocations, recertifications, and trial visit monitoring protocols and procedures; Provides clinically appropriate mental health treatment to clients at Crisis Resolution Center using evidence-based practices; Conducts court ordered Aid and Assist assessments for community restoration activities; Conducts Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) assessments.
Travel 60% of the time within Josephine County and Jackson County to various locations is required. Occasional work on the weekends and holidays is required.
