Job is:
The primary goal of this position is to assist in teaching the necessary concepts to students within the designated subject matter.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Provide open tutoring with an assigned schedule
- Post and market availability of tutoring along with schedule
- Maintain a consistent schedule as arranged with their supervisor
- Provide support to the teachers as needed
- Create a tracking system that indicates student appointment times, progress, and areas of improvement
- Have clear communication with the English SGI teachers to support students in class who are struggling
- Have previous experience tutoring students in an online setting
- Able to provide assistance to students with the writing process
We’ll need you to have the following requirements:
- Proficient English subject knowledge
- Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft software
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 10am-3pm
Pay:
$21.14 - $26.29 Depending on Experience
Location: Remote 10% in person requirement for PDs, events, etc.
*Must reside in California within a 3 hour driving distance of an OFY/OFL school site*
Salary : $21 - $26
