Job is:
Our ideal candidate will:
- Confer with the IEP team regularly to assist in evaluating special education student progress and/or implementing IEP objectives and attend meetings and in-service presentations to acquire and/or convey information relative to job functions.
- Implement academic instruction designed by a teacher for individuals or small groups to meet learning goals, as described by an IEP and/or district benchmarks.
- Implements behavioral plans designed by the IEP team for students with behavior disorders or other special conditions to assist in meeting special education students' needs and providing a consistent environment.
- Instruct special education students (e.g. math groups, science experiments, reading, behavioral skills, daily living skills, writing, verbal skills, etc.) to implement goals for remediation of student deficiencies and ensure students' success
- Maintain instructional materials and/or student files/records (e.g. adapting instructional materials, student files, checking papers, attendance, audiovisual equipment, setting up art/science projects, etc.) to ensure availability of items and/or provide reliable information and communicating with and works with surrounding school districts to retrieve and provide Special Education documents.
- Performs record keeping (daily data on instruction and/or behavior) and clerical functions (e.g. correcting papers, copying, instructional materials, etc.) to support the teacher in providing necessary records/materials.
You’ll need the following minimum requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in ISIStrac or similar database systems
- Two years of college [48 units] or A.A degree or higher
- CBEST or California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite
Salary Range:
$81,000 - $115,000 Depending on Experience
$5,000 GEO Stipend

Salary : $81,000 - $115,000
