We are recruiting for an associate level investment banking professional in their New York, NY offices largely focused on M&A and Private Capital Raising transactions across the Financial Services sector broadly including Insurance, Insurance Technology, Real Estate & Mortgage Services, Asset & Wealth Management & RIA, among others. You will work very closely with the Group Head and other Managing Directors to supporting deal flow of both middle market and multi-billion dollar transactions. This is a group where you'll have autonomy, growth opportunity, and mentorship from the senior bankers to grow into a Partner in the future.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of investment banking experience within M&A, or related products.
- Strong work-ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit to work on a lean team with extra responsibility.
- Financial Services/FIG related sector knowledge is required.
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communicator
- Financial modeling capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree from an accredited university or an MBA from a top business school.
· Ability to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environment
