As a Domestic Violence Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, providing them with guidance, resources, and emotional support to navigate through challenging situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing domestic violence
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning with clients
- Offer emotional support and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence
- Assist clients in accessing community resources such as shelters, legal aid, and counseling services
- Maintain accurate and confidential client files and documentation
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

Qualifications
- Experience or training in crisis intervention and advocacy a plus
- Knowledge of behavioral health and addiction counseling principles a plus
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and situations effectively
- Certification in First Aid is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining client records
- Background in case management or social work is beneficial
