Our fast-paced eye clinic is seeking an assistant manager to assist guiding a team to achieve high levels of patient satisfaction and efficiency. A qualified applicant will have experience with and comfort with managing people.
The position includes both clinical and non-clinical duties. During clinical care hours check-out is performed, vision plans and medical insurance are verified, quotes are given, and call-ins/walk-ins are added to the schedule. Outside of clinic hours assistant manager helps with team meetings and training new associates. Additionally assistant manager helps with motivating team to achieve revenue/service goals, maintaining contact lens dispensary, and keeping the office clean.
The clinic is open 6 days a week and the assistant manager must be free to work on Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00am - 6:30pm each week.
A working knowledge of health insurances & vision plans is required to perform patient check-out and explain challenging challenging insurance topics to patients on a daily basis. Training will be provided in these areas. Excellent computer & general math skills are a must and will be tested during the interview.
