We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the role of Clinical Administrative Lead. This position combines administrative and clinical coordination responsibilities, ensuring seamless office operations and patient care services. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in administrative roles, preferably within a healthcare setting, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. This role will work both in our Fort Worth Clinic and our Communications Department within the same office that services all 9 of our practices in DFW.
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Verify vision and medical insurance benefits with accuracy.
- Update and maintain medical records and insurance reports.
- Perform patient check-in and check-out, including providing quotes.
- Conduct team meetings and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Assist with scheduling and integrating call-ins and walk-ins into the daily schedule.
- Pre-test patients prior to examinations and support contact lens dispensing.
- Teach patients proper use of contact lenses and provide exceptional patient education.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, team members, and patients.
- Utilize office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) for administrative tasks.
- Explain complex insurance topics to patients in a clear and patient-friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative or clinical support roles (e.g., Front Office Manager, Office Administrator, or Medical Assistant).
- Proficiency with office software tools and systems.
- Working knowledge of health and vision insurance plans is required; additional training will be provided.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Availability to work Monday and Friday (9:00 AM – 6:30 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM – 6:30 PM).
