We are seeking a full-time team member for our Patient Communication Hub to help a growing contact center for our 9 office optometry practice.
The position's responsibilities include: handling inbound and outbound calls to support our patients with scheduling appointments, collecting insurance information, and providing overall customer support. You will be communicating via phone, email, and text with doctors, patients, team members, and other medical facilities.
This position will require a comprehensive understanding of our customer service policies and procedures and know when issues need to be escalated to management for resolution. All interactions require a high level of professionalism to uphold the practices' positive reputation. Although call center experience is helpful, it is not required and training is provided.
A well-qualified candidate must be friendly, have an upbeat, energizing personality and a desire to work as a team player in a fast-paced practice. Our agents must have the ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Patient Communication Specialist work schedules all include Monday - Friday, and rotating Saturdays each week, along with some popular retail holidays (MLK, Spring Break, President's Day). Work will be stationed out of our Fort Worth Office and the work schedule will be 9:30am to 6:00pm.
Because the department is growing rapidly, dependability and reliability is a must.
