What are the responsibilities and job description for the Muti-Clinic Lead Medical Assistant position at Optometric Associates of Texas?
We are seeking a full-time outgoing friendly multi-clinic lead medical assistant. For traveling in between our Cedar Hill and Arlington locations.
The shift lead medical assistant responsibilities include scheduling appointments, checking in and pretesting patients before the doctor examines them, dispensing contact lenses, teaching patients how to use contact lenses, and communicating with doctors, team members, and patients. Responsibilities will also include checking out patients and verifying medical and vision insurances.
A well-qualified candidate has a friendly and outgoing personality and desire to work in a fast-paced clinic. The travel shift lead medical assistant schedules include Monday, Friday, and Saturday each week so candidates must be available to work on these days.
