What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometrist position at Optometrist / FULL-TIME?
We are looking to add a Full-Time Optometrist to our team.
Days: Monday - Thursday, Saturdays
Our office is equipped with OPTOS, NCT, and well-trained staff to provide great support to all of our doctors. Techs will perform pre-testing. Optometrists will have the opportunity to practice optometry with full autonomy.
The ideal Optometrist candidate will provide primary vision care, perform eye examinations, and diagnose vision problems. This role requires a professional who is knowledgeable in optometry practices and dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.

Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and identify any potential eye health issues
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, dried eyes and astigmatism
- Monitor patients for signs of ocular diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Stay updated on the latest advances in optometry practices and technologies such as lasik
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
- State licensure to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of optometric equipment and tools such as retina camera and phoropter
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues effectively
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Pay: $169,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year
