Senior CICS Programmer - (Remote- CICS, MQ Middleware, Db2)
Optomi in partnership with an industry leader is seeking an experience CICS programmer to join their team. This person will help to manage the CICS mainframe environment with a high performing and established mainframe team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing CICS environment and performing upgrades as needed
- Utlizing various Middleware tools like MQ
- Monitoring application system performance and working closely with development and application teams
- Utilizing Db2 as a database system for data storage and management
- Any experience utilizing automation tools such as Ansible is a plus
- Experience working on a small mainframe team preferred

- Experience with feature implementations and previous experience with a strong focus on application performance
