Lead Data Scientist (Ad Platforms)
Optomi, in partnership with a flagship entertainment organization, is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive innovation and develop cutting-edge machine learning solutions for addressable advertising platforms. This role involves building prediction and optimization engines, developing scalable ML pipelines, and collaborating across teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Experience of the right candidate:
- 6 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and advanced analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, and large-scale ML/DL platforms and processing technologies.
- Strong understanding of ML technologies, mathematics, and statistics.
- Experience building and deploying full-stack ML pipelines, including data extraction, data mining, model training, and deployment.
- Familiarity with engineering big data solutions using EMR, S3, Spark, or Databricks.
- Experience querying and managing cloud-hosted databases such as Snowflake.
- Familiarity with automated deployment, AWS infrastructure, and Docker or similar containerization tools.
- Proven track record of thriving in collaborative, data-driven, and iterative applied research environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the digital advertising or marketing domain.
- Knowledge of CTR/CVR modeling and generative AI.
- Experience in digital video advertising or related fields.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models to optimize advertising processes, including inventory forecasting, pricing, targeting, and efficient ad delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and translate them into data science frameworks.
- Build and experiment with algorithms and models end-to-end, from development to production rollout and continuous optimization.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient methods for large-scale data analysis and model deployment.
- Mentor team members and guide their technical growth.
