Optomi, in partnership with a premier technology and restaurant client, is seeking a Director, UX Research & Insights based in Ann Arbor, MI.
This leadership role will drive the strategic innovation and growth of consumer insights and research initiatives across Brand & Customer Insights, Digital & UX Research, and Qualitative Operations Research. The ideal candidate has a strong background in market research, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer experience and business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a research strategy that drives innovation in consumer insights and digital user experience.
- Lead and mentor a team in conducting strategic research initiatives that inform marketing, product, and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and marketing teams to translate research findings into actionable strategies.
- Oversee qualitative and quantitative research programs, integrating modern methodologies and emerging technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in digital and operational research through experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related fields (QSR, media, or CPG preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional research teams and initiatives.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in research and analytics tools.

Salary : $170,000 - $190,000
