What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manual QA position at Optomi?
Please note: This is a hybrid position with required 4 days a week in Charlotte, NC office. Also, I can only work with W2 candidates (USC or GC) for this position. Any messages from C2Cs will be ignored.
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled IT Manual QA Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in manual QA roles. While experience in SQL testing is essential for all positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual test cases and scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring effective resolution and retesting.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.
- Analyze and review system specifications, technical documentation, and user stories to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Provide detailed and accurate test reports, including insights and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-15 years of experience in Manual QA or a related field.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with SQL testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary : $45 - $55
