Product Manager, E-commerce
Hybrid - in office 1-2x per week in Quincy, MA
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading B2C retail grocer, is seeking an e-commerce Product Manager to assist in recommending the best products and launch strategies to increase company profitability. The PdM responsibilities include analyzing product data to make product recommendations, interviewing customers to receive customer feedback, and compiling product data. You should be able to study products on the market in order to create a better product.
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation of and updates to the product vision and roadmap.
- Create user stories and prioritize backlog.
- Participate in daily standup/scrum meetings, sprint planning and review meetings and retrospectives to ensure scrum team has clear, well-defined user stories.
- Work with cross-functional teams comprised business stakeholders, engineering, user design and QA.
- Partner with the technology team on development, testing & implementation plans, as well as internal communications & deployment plans.
- Aid in the investigation and resolution of production issues with engineering.
- Develop a strong understanding of our customers’ (business partners) needs.
- Collaborate with our customers to define requirements and communicate them to the scrum teams.
- Understand the key metrics and ensure product features will help achieve those metrics.
- Research and analyze best-in-class product features in the marketplace.
- Make timely, informed decisions related to product requirements, the product vision, and product releases.
Must Have Skills/ Requirements:
- 5 years of overall product experience as Product Owner or Product Manager
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Web and mobile app experience
- Ecommerce experience (B2C preferred)
- Tangible goods experience (preferred)
